Product Details

Type Schrift is honored to offer the opportunity to take home a piece of Original Motorsport Artwork. But more so, honored to be the current Caretaker of such a rare piece of surviving history.

The late 80s were packed with some of the most fierce racing the sport had seen. With the powerhouses of today just coming into their own at the time, the performances were a spectacle every weekend. The 1988 NFGP saw a battle between Walter Rohrl and Scott Pruett, ultimately ending in a Rohrl Victory. The photographed car here is the #33 Newman (Paul) Sharp Racing 300zx. Unfortunately in the heat of the race, the car ended up not finishing due to a piston failure. Cut from the most vibrant 1988 Cloth in existence, this piece exudes the nostalgia of decades past.

Owning a Type Schrift piece like this in itself is a very special occasion for few. But through Type Schrift, this piece has now been preserved eternally for many. With our high-resolution documentation of this piece now, we hope that even after this artwork is sold, this can act as an Authentic Reference Standard for Motorsport Enthusiasts of the future.
