Type Schrift is honored to offer the opportunity to take home a piece of Original Motorsport Artwork. But more so, honored to be the current Caretaker of such a rare piece of surviving history.

In the late 90s Factory backed sports car racing was taking off. With colorful sponsorships and advertising galore, manufactures saw this as an outlet for their engineers to run wild. This example from Porsche, the GT1 was from the motorsport lore that was "interpreting the rules" a bit differently. This Michelin sponsored artwork is a darker image highlighting the reflective Champion Livery, and has been over exposed on the last image to highlight some of the hidden detail.

Owning a Type Schrift piece like this in itself is a very special occasion for few. But through Type Schrift, this piece has now been preserved eternally for many. With our high-resolution documentation of this piece now, we hope that even after this artwork is sold, this can act as an Authentic Reference Standard for Motorsport Enthusiasts of the future.
